Leah passed away from a genetic mutation, a mitochondrial disease which affects all the cells in the body. This specific mutation, however has never been seen in any other person It is a mutation in the same category as Leigh's disease and very close in genetic structure to Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LOHN)
In her short little life, Leah taught us never to give up and keep up the fight for what we believe in. We believed in her very much and through her we learned compassion, empathy, and how important our own lives are within rallying together for a worthy cause...
Our Own Humanity.
Through her short little life and it's struggles we learned what it truly means to be...
Human.
Go In Peace Little Leah and thank you sweetheart for all the joy you brought to so many.
You Will Be Missed And As Always....
The Force Be With You.
